Flights between Australia and South America are consistently becoming cheaper each year. With rising competition between Qantas, LATAM and Air New Zealand, we are seeing more attractive promotions, more frequently and better flight routes.

Pick your timing and it is easier than ever to secure flights outside peak season, for as little as;

  • AUD$1,000 per person return in economy
  • AUD$2,000 per person return in Premium Economy
  • AUD$4,000 per person return in Business

QANTAS FLIGHTS: Qantas flights will work well for voyages departing Argentina and Chile, as they utilise Santiago de Chile as their hub. Just remember to include your flights through to Buenos Aires at the time of booking, and onto Ushuaia for your voyage.

  • Search Qantas’ Promotion page here

LATAM FLIGHTS: LATAM Chile flights, as with Qantas, work well for voyages departing from Argentina and Chile, as they utilise Santiago de Chile as their hub.  Ensure you extend your flights through to Buenos Aires at the time of booking, if you are departing Ushuaia, Argentina.

  • Search LATAM Promotion page here

AIR NEW ZEALAND FLIGHTS: Air New Zealand flights use Buenos Aires as their hub and fly direct from Auckland to Buenos Aires. They are an excellent option if you prefer to fly direct to Buenos Aires and miss the Santiago stopover. If your voyage is starting and/or finishing in Chile, these flights may not be suitable, unless you are planning on some overland touring pre and/or post-cruise, as these flights only depart Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Often sale airfares often combine perfectly with our Antarctic cruises that travel in October, November, February and March. Outside the peak season, is still an excellent time to experience Antarctica. For example;

  • In October and November, the sun sits low in the Antarctic landscape creating dreamy twilight hues and shadows, combined with a landscape emerging from the depths of an Antarctic winter, this time of year in Antarctica is heaven for nature lovers and photographers alike.
    • Search Antarctica voyages departing; Oct/Nov 2017 or Oct/Nov 2018
  • February and March are exciting times in Antarctica. February, in particular, is when Antarctica is most alive, penguins chicks and seal pups are going to sea, which brings in the apex predators for a quick feed. Whale activity is abundant, as they feed on surface krill and spectacular breaching displays reach their peak.
    • Search Antarctica voyages departing; Feb/Mar 2017 or Feb/Mar 2018
